C'est très ouvert ! Pactole de Ballon est idéalement placé à la limite du recul. Quadro de Ray a toujours été annoncé comme un bon cheval par son mentor mais a tardé à le montrer en compétition et Peterhof avait été le héros malheureux d'une épreuve de ce genre l'automne dernier à Cabourg. En tête, ces trois chevaux utiles tenteront de contrer Qualin de Laumont, qui est certainement celui qui a le plus de marge au départ, le régulier Quicky Oa, moins tranchant que par le passé tout de même et Querner, lequel n'arrive plus à faire dix mètres sans faire de faute. Même si leur forme est sujette à caution, Pyrrhus du Gault, pieds nus d'entrée de jeu et l'excellent Quing du Lupin, après plusieurs mois d'absence, ne surprendront personne en complétant l'arrivée !
